Professional background

Andrew has over 20 years of experience in real estate and specifically Property Investment, where he was involved in over £1 billion of Sales & Acquisitions as an Investment Partner in Lisney Belfast.

In 2010, Andrew co-founded Lightsource Renewable Energy. Then, just a six-person start-up, Lightsource quickly grew over the next five years to become Europe’s leading solar developer and operator, and recognized leader on the global stage. Andrew successfully exited Lightsource in 2015.

Since 2016, as well as running an Independent Music Festival, Andrew has been involved in advising several start-up businesses on strategy & and fundraising.

In 2019, Andrew started Wild Atlantic Surf Co., an Irish outdoor lifestyle & surf brand.

In 2022, Andreww joined up with Ortus Energy, a specialist renewable energy generator, to set up and run their Irish Operations.

In January 202,4, Andrew was appointed Managing Director of Ortus Energy Ireland.
